Raised by Someone Worth Following
Jesus did not only teach His disciples in sermons. He raised them through daily life — walking with them, eating with them, correcting them, praying with them, and showing them how to love, serve, forgive, and trust God.
In a Kinship family, children are being raised in a similar light. They are not simply given a place to sleep. They are placed under spiritual leaders who guide their days with faith, structure, patience, and example.
A child learns by watching. They see caregivers pray when life is hard. They hear Scripture spoken in the home. They learn to serve through chores, forgive after conflict, study with discipline, and worship with others.
Many children come from places where steady spiritual leadership was missing. In these homes, they are surrounded by adults who help shape not only their behavior, but their hearts.
This is discipleship lived around the table, in the classroom, during worship, and through ordinary routines. When a child is raised by someone worth following, faith becomes something they can see.
