When a Child Is Found in the Trash
Some children are found in places no human should ever be. One child was discovered in the trash and brought into care with urgent needs. A Kinship family received the child with steady, practical love.
The first needs were simple and sacred: a bath, a meal, a safe bed, clean clothing, and caregivers who would notice every cry, every fever, every sign of fear, and every step forward. Over time, the home became a place of restoration.
The child began to eat without fear, sleep in safety, receive care, and grow surrounded by prayer, protection, and daily attention. This is what these families do. That's Kinship Care. They step into urgent situations and provide the long-term care that follows rescue.
Donors help make that care possible — not only for the first day, but for every meal, school year, doctor visit, and peaceful night after.
“He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap.”
Psalm 113:7
